Known issues on the 2015 Tundra. Four recalls are on federal record for this model year. Two of them sit on the hydraulic power assist steering system: one covers JTEKT power steering gear assembly service parts supplied for 2007-2021 Tundra and 2008-2022 Sequoia, the other covers power steering gear assemblies on 2007-2021 Tundra and 2008-2022 Sequoia vehicles that may have been manufactured incorrectly, and in both cases an oil leak may cause a sudden loss of power steering assist, increasing the risk of a crash. A third, from Southeast Toyota Distributors, applies to 2013-2017 Tundra and Sequoia vehicles accessorized with Southeast Toyota accessory 20-inch Rockstar wheels: lugnuts that crack and detach may cause the wheels to separate from the vehicle. The fourth, also from Southeast Toyota Distributors, is a labeling recall covering 2015-2016 Tundra along with several other Toyota and Scion models, and an incorrect label may lead an owner to overload the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. Owners have filed 57 complaints for the year and Toyota has issued 119 technical service bulletins.
