The 2013 Toyota Tundra is a full-size pickup sold in extra cab and crew cab bodies with a choice of three gasoline engines: the 4.0L V6 (1GR-FE), the 4.6L V8 (1UR-FE) and the 5.7L V8 (3UR-FE/3UR-FBE). Specifications shift between those engines and between cab configurations, so the figures you work to here are the ones Toyota published for the 2013 truck rather than a number carried over from an adjacent Tundra year.

Known issues on the 2013 Tundra. Five recalls are on federal record for this truck, and two of them land on the same part. Both are filed under steering: hydraulic power assist system — one covers JTEKT power steering gear assembly service parts supplied for 2007-2021 Tundra and 2008-2022 Sequoia, the other covers vehicles whose power steering gear assembly may have been manufactured incorrectly. In both, an oil leak may cause a sudden loss of power steering assist, increasing the risk of a crash. A third recall, from Southeast Toyota Distributors, is filed against the frontal air bag sensor/control module and concerns the front passenger seat occupant sensing system being out of calibration. A fourth covers trucks accessorized with Southeast Toyota accessory 20-inch Rockstar wheels, where lugnuts that crack and detach may cause the wheels to separate from the vehicle. The fifth is a labels recall: an inaccurate label could lead to owners overloading their vehicles and tires. Owners have filed 105 complaints against the 2013 Tundra, and 133 technical service bulletins have been issued for it.
Whether the power steering assist is fading, the passenger occupant sensing system needs a calibration check, or the wheels and lugnuts want inspecting before a heavy load, the procedure you follow and the specification you measure against are Toyota's own for this 2013 Tundra.
