2009 Ford Lobo Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 2009 Ford Lobo covers four trims, Base, Lariat, Sport FX4 and XLT, on three body styles: the four-door crew cab pickup, the two-door standard cab pickup and the four-door extended cab pickup. Two SOHC gasoline V8s are listed, the 5.4L of 330 cubic inches and the 4.6L of 281 cubic inches, both naturally aspirated. For the extended cab and crew cab bodies as much as for the standard cab, the procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics are written to the engine fitted, and the two V8s are kept apart wherever their figures differ.

Known issues on the 2009 Lobo. One recall is on federal record for this year, a brake light switch compliance campaign in which the trucks failed to meet the federal standard for lamps and reflective devices. Owners have taken 397 complaints to NHTSA over the 2009 truck. The stop lamp switch circuit is what that campaign points at, and the manual's wiring diagrams, diagnostics and specifications for the 5.4L and 4.6L V8 pickups cover it from pedal to tail lamp.
