Known issues on the 2005 Safari. Two recalls are on the federal record. Replacement fuel filters may fail to seal at the connection, and fuel escaping near an ignition source can start a fire. Replacement corner lamps, turn signals and headlights lacking amber side reflectors leave the van poorly illuminated from the side. Owner complaints stop at five, with two on the steering and one each on the electrical system and the body structure.
