1997 GMC Safari Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 1997 GMC Safari takes in both wheelbases again: three-door standard and extended passenger vans and three-door standard and extended cargo vans, offered as Base, SL, SLE, SLT or SLX. Only one engine appears, the 4.3L V6 displacing 262 cubic inches, with overhead valves and no forced induction. Since the powertrain is constant and the bodies are not, the sheet metal, glass and interior sections do most of the varying, and each system carries its own procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics.
