Known issues on the 1996 E-350 Econoline Club Wagon. Five recalls are on federal record for the 1996 wagon. Two of them are aftermarket lamp assemblies sold without amber side reflectors; a third covers the speed control deactivation switch overheating; a fourth a speed control harness wired against the vehicle's polarity; and the fifth a parking brake that could fail to hold on a twenty percent grade within the pedal effort the standard allows. Two hundred and forty-four complaints are logged with NHTSA, headed by the service brakes, then the tires and the engine and cooling system.
