This factory service and repair manual for the 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo covers a two-door coupe in LS and Z34 form, powered by one of two V6s: a 3.4L unit of 207 cubic inches with double overhead camshafts, or a 3.1L of 189 cubic inches with pushrods. The two share little above the block, so valve train service, timing work and cylinder head torque sequences are given twice over, while the coupe body, brake and interior sections apply to both cars without qualification.

Known issues on the 1995 Monte Carlo. Five recalls stand on the federal record. One describes a right-hand lower control arm whose ball joint mounting hole was machined wrong, letting the stud work in the joint, fatigue and finally fracture with loss of steering control. Another covers a rear seat belt anchor plate carrying stress cracks that can fracture under crash loads. A third addresses braking that arrives late on wet roads under light or moderate pedal effort. Complaints run to 214, with service brakes at 50 ahead of the power train at 27 and suspension at 20, the systems this manual specifies and diagnoses.
