Known issues on the 2024 E-350 Super Duty. One recall is on federal record for the 2024 model year. It concerns the automatic transmission's park pawl, which may not fully engage the park gear because of a casting defect in the transmission, leaving a vehicle that appears to be in park free to roll away. Owners have logged two complaints with NHTSA, one on the wheels and one on the power train. The manual's transmission procedures, specifications and torque values cover the park mechanism and the rest of the driveline, and its wheel and hub specifications cover the other complaint area.
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Ford E-350, F-650, and F-750 vehicles. The park pawl may not fully engage the park gear due to a casting defect in the transmission.
