2002 Ford E-350 Super Duty Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 2002 Ford E-350 Super Duty applies to the Base and Base Stripped trims in four configurations: two-door standard cargo van, chassis, two-door cutaway van and two-door extended cargo van. Under the hood the choices were the 6.8L SOHC V10, the 7.3L OHV turbocharged diesel V8 and the 5.4L SOHC V8 with gasoline or CNG fueling. Each engine has its own procedures, specifications, torque values and diagnostics, and the wiring diagrams follow the differences between the diesel, gasoline and CNG installations instead of lumping them together.

Known issues on the 2002 E-350 Super Duty. Four recalls are on federal record. One is a speed control campaign that Ford applied across many of its model lines, the E-150 through E-550 among them. Another concerns cutaway chassis cabs with the school bus option, which left the factory without two brackets and two outrigger members near the fuel tank. The remaining pair cover aftermarket combination corner and bumper lamp assemblies. Owners have logged 37 complaints with NHTSA. Speed control wiring, fuel tank mounting and exterior lighting are all covered by the manual's procedures, specifications and wiring diagrams.
