1999 Ford E-350 Super Duty Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 1999 Ford E-350 Super Duty covers three engine families: the 6.8L SOHC V10, the 7.3L OHV turbocharged diesel V8 and the 5.4L SOHC V8, which was offered on gasoline, on CNG and as a bi-fuel gasoline/LPG unit. Four body configurations are documented, from the bare chassis and the two-door cutaway van to the standard and extended two-door cargo vans, across four trims: Base, Base Stripped, XL and XL Stripped. Because the stripped and cutaway versions go to an upfitter before they see service, the procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics are written around the chassis systems every conversion starts from.

Known issues on the 1999 E-350 Super Duty. Three recalls are on federal record for this model year. One concerns cutaways and stripped chassis with single rear wheels, where the wheel lug nuts can bottom out on a shoulder of the studs before they clamp the wheel. The other two cover aftermarket combination corner and bumper lamp assemblies sold for various passenger vehicles rather than a Ford-built part. Owners have lodged 102 complaints with NHTSA. For the wheel-end issue the manual's hub and wheel procedures and torque values apply, while its wiring diagrams and diagnostics cover the exterior lighting circuits.
