2017 Ford E-350 Super Duty Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 2017 Ford E-350 Super Duty pairs the 6.2L SOHC flex-fuel V8 with the 6.8L SOHC V10, which itself ran on gasoline, CNG or LPG (propane). Two configurations are covered, the chassis and the two-door cutaway van, in Base and Base Stripped trims. Procedures, specifications and torque values are laid out for both engines, and the wiring diagrams and diagnostics follow the chassis harness from the engine bay to the rear frame rails, which is the territory ambulance and shuttle bus body builders work in.

Known issues on the 2017 E-350 Super Duty. Four recalls are on federal record for the 2017 model year, none of them on the bare Ford chassis. Two concern back-up camera monitors on ambulance and shuttle bus conversions that can revert to default settings and reverse the camera image. Another covers aftermarket brake lights on ambulances that can light up without the pedal being pressed, and the fourth involves converter-installed foldaway seats whose cushion may not stay locked under load. Owners have lodged 13 complaints with NHTSA, chiefly on steering, with engine and suspension next. Steering, suspension and engine procedures, specifications and diagnostics in the manual address those areas.
