2023 GMC Sierra 1500 Service and Repair Manual

This factory service and repair manual for the 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 lists the 325-cubic-inch 5.3L V8 with flex-fuel capability alongside the gasoline 376-cubic-inch 6.2L V8, the turbocharged 183-cubic-inch 3.0L inline-six diesel and the turbocharged 166-cubic-inch 2.7L inline-four. Known issues on the 2023 Sierra 1500. Three recalls stand on the federal record. Connecting rod and crankshaft defects in the 6.2L V8 can damage the engine badly enough to cause failure. Daytime running lamps may not switch off when they should, glaring at oncoming traffic. And a low brake fluid warning lamp may not work to the federal standard, which means a truck could be driven with the fluid down and braking already degraded. Of 455 complaints, 145 name the engine, 87 the power train and 68 the structure.
