2015 GMC Sierra 1500 Service and Repair Manual

Known issues on the 2015 Sierra 1500. Eight recalls are on the federal record. Electric power steering assist could disappear for a moment and then return without warning, which is at its most dangerous at parking speeds. Brake booster vacuum could decline as the pump wore, making the pedal hard and the stops long. A roof-rail air bag inflator could lose its end cap or rupture at the sidewall, venting compressed gas and hurling parts into the cabin. Complaints total 814: 209 service brakes, 117 exterior lighting, 103 power train.
