2023 Ford Explorer Service and Repair Manual

Known issues on the 2023 Explorer. Eight recalls are on the federal record. The right-front lower fastener joining the steering knuckle to the strut could be loose or missing, causing a steering pull; the turbocharger oil supply line on the 2.3L could be damaged and leak oil; and the rearview camera image could fail to display, either through the 360-degree camera or as a blue image from a harness error. Owners have filed 106 complaints with NHTSA, split among steering at 12, the power train at ten and structure at nine.
