2019 Ford Explorer Service and Repair Manual

This factory service and repair manual for the 2019 Ford Explorer is written for three dual overhead-cam gasoline engines, the turbocharged 2.3L inline-four, the naturally aspirated 3.5L V6 and the turbocharged 3.5L V6, all in the 4-door sport utility body. Known issues on the 2019 Explorer. Six recalls are on federal record. Roof rail covers could come loose and detach from the vehicle, which took two campaigns to address; the A-pillar trim retention clips might not be properly engaged, letting the trim fall off and become a road hazard; and the rear suspension toe links could fracture and cause a loss of steering control. Owners have filed 292 complaints with NHTSA, led by structure at 142, the power train at 33 and the electrical system at 17.
