Known issues on the 2023 Malibu. Two recalls apply to this model year. In one, the rearview camera screen can show a distorted or blank image, which cuts what the driver can see behind the car when reversing. In the other, the front impact bar may not be properly welded to the front frame rail, so the front crash sensors may not read an impact as designed.
