2017 Chevrolet Malibu Service and Repair Manual

This factory service and repair manual for the 2017 Chevrolet Malibu takes in three twin-cam four-cylinder engines and five trims. Two of the engines are turbocharged, the 2.0L of 122 cubic inches and the 1.5L of 91; the third is the naturally aspirated 1.8L full hybrid of 110. Known issues on the 2017 Malibu. Four recalls apply to this model year. The high pressure fuel pump can separate from its mounting flange and damage the line it feeds, which risks a fuel leak and a fire. A rear side air bag inflator manifold with insufficient welds can come apart and throw debris into the cabin, or fail to inflate at all. A passenger sensing system calibrated to the wrong seat can misjudge an adult for a child, and rear belt retractors can be left with loose or missing fasteners.
