Four concern restraints: a passenger sensing system that can misread an adult as a child, a side air bag cushion whose fabric can tear as it inflates, weld studs that can fracture and let a side bag move out of place, and a driver bag that can inflate improperly in its second stage. A high pressure fuel pump can pull off its mounting flange and damage the fuel line, and a failed brake control module memory chip can take away ABS and stability control.
