Known issues on the 2021 F-250 Super Duty. Eight recalls are on federal record for 2021, and the 6.7L diesel accounts for two of them: a void in the secondary fuel filter cap can grow into a leak, and biodiesel deposits in the high pressure fuel pump can cause pump failure and loss of drive power. On gasoline trucks, loose underbody insulators can rub the aluminum driveshaft until it fractures. Owners have filed four complaints with NHTSA, one each on the power train, the structure and steering.
