Known issues on the 2019 F-250 Super Duty. The 2019 truck's federal record runs to eight recalls. An incorrect transmission case casting can leave the park pawl unsecured so the truck moves when parked; water in the electric tailgate release switch wiring can short it and drop the tailgate while driving; and on carpeted crew cabs a deploying seat belt pretensioner can ignite material inside the B-pillar. Owners have filed eight complaints with NHTSA, three each on the suspension and steering and one on the structure.
