Known issues on the 2013 Regal. Six recalls apply to the 2013 Regal. Four deal with rear suspension toe links on certain cars sold or registered in a specific group of states, one confined to Turbo and GS trim-level cars: a corrosion coating that may have been applied in the wrong amount could turn brittle and chip away, so the link could rust and fracture. On certain cars with eAssist, the generator control module might malfunction, draining the battery until the engine stalls or will not start, with a chance of fire in the trunk. Owners filed 91 complaints, led by exterior lighting with 37 and the electrical system with 36; 6 reported a crash, 2 a fire and 4 an injury.
