The download I received was a complete waste of my money. Was not even close to what it was represented as. I thought I was getting a proper service repair manual. What I got was a collection of service bulletins. I sent an email to your company right after I looked through it requesting my money back. Have yet to hear a response. Terry Muich

It was much larger than i expected. 5 documents at 12k pages each. Its not something ill actually be able read but its easy enough to find what you need..
The Ford F250 manual is much easier to navigate at just over 8000 pages.
If i spend the money for Adobe Acrobat Professional ill be able to break it down into manageable bits.
Both manuals area great value for the money.

I wasn’t sure why I needed this to be a PDF, but it was apparent once I got it. It includes what would be thousands of pages if it were in print. The links take you to wherever you need to go in the text.

would rather have a maintenance manual. have a parts manual from parts vu company. only difference is that your parts manual has all together whereas the parts vu had to download the differsections individually.

Our original order was supposed to be for our 2014 Subaru Outback, yet the manual came up as Forester. We did have to purchase a new manual in order for them to send us the correct manual. We hope it will help us repair our Subaru.

Hyundai wrote one set of specifications for the 2003 Elantra, and this factory service and repair manual is matched to that exact year, engine and trim — every figure and sequence it gives is the one issued for this car, not a close approximation borrowed from the 2002 or 2004 model.

Engines covered

  • 2.0L inline-four — DOHC, naturally aspirated, gasoline

Body styles covered

  • 4-door sedan
  • 4-door hatchback

Trims covered

  • GLS
  • GT

Known issues on the 2003 Elantra. Five recalls are on federal record for this model year. Two concern the fuel tank assembly, where a valve may not close properly; one of the two was issued because the vehicles fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 301, fuel system integrity. On both, fuel spillage in the presence of an ignition source may result in a fire. Two more cover the hydraulic brake lines: the rear brake tubes pass behind the front suspension crossmember, where they can contact the steering gearbox mounting brackets welded to it, and fluid leakage could result in reduced braking capability, increasing the risk of a crash. The fifth, covering 160,904 model-year 2001–2003 Elantra and 2003 Tiburon vehicles originally sold in or currently registered in certain states, addresses the front control arm, whose fracturing could affect an owner's control over their vehicle. Owners have reported 310 complaints for the year and Hyundai has published 66 technical service bulletins. The factory diagnostic and repair procedures behind each of those systems are in this manual.

From a fuel tank valve check to tracing the rear brake tubes along the crossmember or replacing a front control arm, it holds the work to Hyundai's own procedure and the correct figures for your 2003 Elantra.

ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES, THE REAR BRAKE TUBES PASS BEHIND THE FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER. TWO STEERING GEARBOX MOUNTING BRACKETS ARE WELDED TO THE CROSSMEMBER. ON VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH AN ANTILOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS), THE REAR BRAKE TUBES COULD CONTACT BOTH STEERING GEARBOX MOUNTING BRACKETS. ON VEHICLES THAT ARE NOT EQUIPPED WITH ABS, THE REAR BRAKE TUBES MAY CONTACT ONLY THE LEFT MOUNTING BRACKET. CONTACT BETWEEN THE REAR BRAKE TUBES AND THE STEERING BRACKETS COULD CAUSE WEAR AND CORROSION THAT COULD RESULT IN BRAKE FLUID LEAKAGE.

Consequence

FLUID LEAKAGE COULD RESULT IN REDUCED BRAKING CAPABILITY INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REPOSITION THE REAR BRAKE TUBES SO THEY DO NOT CONTACT THE MOUNTING BRACKETS, INSTALL BRAKE TUBE CLIPS TO CONTROL THE LOCATION OF THE REAR BRAKE TUBES, AND APPLY ANTI-CORROSION MATERIAL TO THE TUBES IN THE AREAS WHERE CONTACT WITH THE MOUNTING BRACKETS MAY HAVE OCCURRED.
