The download I received was a complete waste of my money. Was not even close to what it was represented as. I thought I was getting a proper service repair manual. What I got was a collection of service bulletins. I sent an email to your company right after I looked through it requesting my money back. Have yet to hear a response. Terry Muich

It was much larger than i expected. 5 documents at 12k pages each. Its not something ill actually be able read but its easy enough to find what you need..
The Ford F250 manual is much easier to navigate at just over 8000 pages.
If i spend the money for Adobe Acrobat Professional ill be able to break it down into manageable bits.
Both manuals area great value for the money.

I wasn’t sure why I needed this to be a PDF, but it was apparent once I got it. It includes what would be thousands of pages if it were in print. The links take you to wherever you need to go in the text.

would rather have a maintenance manual. have a parts manual from parts vu company. only difference is that your parts manual has all together whereas the parts vu had to download the differsections individually.

Our original order was supposed to be for our 2014 Subaru Outback, yet the manual came up as Forester. We did have to purchase a new manual in order for them to send us the correct manual. We hope it will help us repair our Subaru.

Every procedure in the 2002 Hyundai Elantra factory service and repair manual was written for this exact year, engine and trim, so the specifications and sequences you follow are the ones Hyundai published for the 2002 car rather than values carried over from the 2001 or 2003 Elantra.

Engines covered

  • 2.0L inline-four — DOHC, naturally aspirated, gasoline

Body styles covered

  • 4-door sedan
  • 4-door hatchback

Trims covered

  • GLS
  • GT

Known issues on the 2002 Elantra. Six recalls are on federal record for this model year. Two concern the fuel tank assembly, where a valve may not close properly; fuel spillage in the presence of an ignition source may result in a fire. Two more cover the rear hydraulic brake lines, which pass behind the front suspension crossmember and can contact the steering gearbox mounting brackets welded to it; fluid leakage could result in reduced braking capability, increasing the risk of a crash. A regional recall, limited to cars originally sold in or currently registered in certain states, covers the front control arm, whose fracturing could affect the owner's control over the vehicle. The last covers the side impact air bag wiring harness mounted under each front seat, where movement of that harness is a condition relating only to the driver and passenger seat-mounted side impact air bags. Owners have filed 431 complaints for the year and Hyundai has issued 75 technical service bulletins. The factory diagnostic and repair procedures behind every one of those systems are in this manual.

From tracing a fuel odor to renewing rear brake lines or inspecting a front control arm, it keeps you on Hyundai's own procedure and the correct specification for your 2002 Elantra.

NHTSA #08V53300014/10/2008Component: AIR BAGS:FRONTAL:SENSOR/CONTROL MODULE-INACTIVE

HYUNDAI IS RECALLING CERTAIN MY 2001-2002 ELANTRA VEHICLES. MOVEMENT OF THE SIDE IMPACT AIR BAG WIRING HARNESS MOUNTED UNDER EACH FRONT SEAT, POSSIBLY CAUSED BY CONTACT FROM MATERIALS PLACED UNDER THE SEAT, MAY RESULT IN AN ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE THAT WOULD CAUSE SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATION.

Consequence

THIS CONDITION ONLY RELATES TO THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SEAT MOUNTED SIDE IMPACT AIR BAGS AND MAY PREVENT SEAT MOUNTED SIDE IMPACT AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT DURING A CRASH WHERE SUCH DEPLOYMENT SHOULD OCCUR. NON-DEPLOYMENT OF THE SRS AIR BAGS MAY INCREASE THE RISK OF INJURY TO THE DRIVER AND FRONT PASSENGER UNDER CERTAIN CRASH CONDITIONS.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL INSTALL NEW SIDE IMPACT AIR BAG WIRING HARNESS CONNECTOR CLIPS AND REVISED SIDE IMPACT AIR BAG WIRING HARNESS ATTACHMENTS UNDER THE DRIVER'S AND FRONT PASSENGER'S SEATS. THE RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING THE FOURTH QUARTER OF 2008, AND WILL BE SENT OUT IN SIX MAILINGS. OWNERS MAY CONTACT HYUNDAI AT 1-800-633-5151.

ROAD SALT USED DURING THE WINTER MONTHS IN THESE JURISDICTIONS MAY RESULT IN INTERNAL CORROSION AND THINNING OF THE STEEL IN THE FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARMS. THE CORROSION MAY PROGRESS TO THE POINT WHERE THE LOWER CONTROL ARM'S UPPER AND LOWER PANELS BECOME PERFORATED. A PERFORATED FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARM MAY FRAC

Consequence

THE FRACTURING OF THE CONTROL ARM COULD AN OWNER'S CONTROL OVER THEIR VEHICLE THAT MAY INCREASE THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARMS FOR CORROSION DAMAGE. IF SPECIFIED LEVELS OF INTERNAL CORROSION DAMAGE ARE FOUND, THE FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARMS WILL BE REPLACED WITH NEW FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARMS INCORPORATING ADDITIONAL HOLES IN THE UPPER AND LOWER PANELS. IF THE FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARMS DO NOT REQUIRE REPLACEMENT, THE DEALER WILL ADD DRAINAGE HOLES TO THE FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARMS AND WILL TREAT THE FRONT LOWER CONTROL ARMS WITH RUST-PROOFING MATERIALS TO ARREST THE INTERNAL C

ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES, THE REAR BRAKE TUBES PASS BEHIND THE FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER. TWO STEERING GEARBOX MOUNTING BRACKETS ARE WELDED TO THE CROSSMEMBER. ON VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH AN ANTILOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS), THE REAR BRAKE TUBES COULD CONTACT BOTH STEERING GEARBOX MOUNTING BRACKETS. ON VEHICLES THAT ARE NOT EQUIPPED WITH ABS, THE REAR BRAKE TUBES MAY CONTACT ONLY THE LEFT MOUNTING BRACKET. CONTACT BETWEEN THE REAR BRAKE TUBES AND THE STEERING BRACKETS COULD CAUSE WEAR AND CORROSION THAT COULD RESULT IN BRAKE FLUID LEAKAGE.

Consequence

FLUID LEAKAGE COULD RESULT IN REDUCED BRAKING CAPABILITY INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL REPOSITION THE REAR BRAKE TUBES SO THEY DO NOT CONTACT THE MOUNTING BRACKETS, INSTALL BRAKE TUBE CLIPS TO CONTROL THE LOCATION OF THE REAR BRAKE TUBES, AND APPLY ANTI-CORROSION MATERIAL TO THE TUBES IN THE AREAS WHERE CONTACT WITH THE MOUNTING BRACKETS MAY HAVE OCCURRED. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN ON OCTOBER 13, 2003. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT HYUNDAI AT 1-800-633-5151.

SOME PASSENGER VEHICLES CONTAIN A FUEL TANK ASSEMBLY VALVE THAT MAY NOT CLOSE PROPERLY. IF A VEHICLE WITH A FUEL TANK ASSEMBLY VALVE THAT IS NOT PROPERLY CLOSED WERE TO ROLL OVER, FUEL SPILLAGE MAY OCCUR.

Consequence

FUEL SPILLAGE IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE MAY RESULT IN A FIRE.

Remedy

DEALERS WILL INSTALL AN ADDITIONAL FUEL TANK ASSEMBLY VALVE. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN ON JUNE 30, 2004. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT HYUNDAI AT 1-800-633-5151.
