Known issues on the 1984 S10. The federal record carries four recalls for the 1984 truck. Three concern replacement lighting assemblies missing the amber side reflectors that make a vehicle visible from the side after dark. The fourth is a seat problem: the bucket seat back lock may not function in a crash, letting the seatback give way when it should stay put. Nine owner complaints are recorded, the largest group on the engine and cooling system, with tires and the power train behind it — cooling system testing and driveline procedures both appear here with their torque values.
