Known issues on the 2020 Silverado 1500. Eight recalls are recorded for this year. One involves a fuel pump assembled without its pressure regulator, so the fuel system can over-pressurize until the pump cracks and leaks near an ignition source. Another describes roof-rail air bag inflators whose diffuser was not properly crimped and can separate during deployment, degrading how the bag performs. A third covers front seat belt pretensioners that vent hot gas onto the carpet. Complaints number 719: 210 on the power train, 147 on the engine, 74 electrical.
