2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Service and Repair Manual

This factory service and repair manual for the 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 names six engines: a 4.3-liter V6, V8s of 4.8, 5.3, 6.0 and 6.2 liters, and a full-hybrid version of the 6.0. Known issues on the 2009 Silverado 1500. Three recalls are on the federal record for this year, and all three concern the same hazard: a passenger-side frontal air bag inflator that can rupture as it fires, sending sharp metal fragments through the cabin at the people it is meant to protect. Each reached a different group of states.
