Rear axle misalignment tied to an earlier repair campaign can cause premature or uneven tire wear, raising crash risk. A gateway control module can shut down after liquid intrusion from a rear-seat spill or a body seam, suddenly reducing engine power. A broken lock nut on the rear trailing arm can misalign the rear axle and cause a loss of control. A seat backrest adjuster may not have been welded properly, reducing occupant restraint in a rear-end crash. The rear wheel arch cover trim can loosen and detach, becoming a road hazard. And an industrial 220V/240V home charging setup can overheat the outlet or charging cable, increasing fire risk.
