Known issues on the 2016 Silverado 2500. Five recalls appear on this year's record. A brake pedal pivot nut that works loose is the subject of two of them; the pedal can go slack or stop working and can also interfere with the accelerator. Two more concern front air bags and seat belt pretensioners that may not deploy in a crash calling for them. The fifth is a roof-rail air bag inflator whose end cap can separate or whose sidewall can rupture. Steering leads the 128 complaints with 47, then 18 power train and 15 electrical.
