Known issues on the 2011 Silverado 2500. Four recalls are recorded. Two cover frontal air bag inflators that can rupture when their propellant degrades, driving metal fragments toward the occupants. A third concerns an auxiliary battery setup where current pulled through the trailer harness melts a fusible link, which may then contact nearby parts and ignite. The fourth is a fire extinguisher that can clog and not discharge.
