2012 Ford F-650 Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 2012 Ford F-650 covers two engines, the naturally aspirated 6.8L SOHC V10 of 415 cubic inches on gasoline and the turbocharged 6.7L OHV inline-six diesel of 408 cubic inches, in a medium duty straight truck offered as a four-door extended cab, a two-door long conventional or a four-door crew cab. Two trims are listed, XL and XLT. A gasoline V10 and a diesel inline-six share almost nothing under the hood, so the procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics are kept separate for each engine and shared for the chassis and cab.

Known issues on the 2012 F-650. One recall is on federal record for the 2012 F-650: the clear and black primer may be missing from some windshields, leaving an insufficient bond between the glass and the cab structure and allowing the windshield to separate from the cab. Owners have logged one complaint with NHTSA, on the seat belts. Both items concern the cab rather than the driveline, and the manual's body procedures and specifications for windshield installation and seat belt anchorages, together with its engine coverage for the 6.8L V10 and 6.7L diesel, address them.
