Known issues on the 2011 F-650. NHTSA lists two recalls for the 2011 F-650. On trucks with Bendix antilock traction relay valves, extreme cold can cause internal leakage that leads to unexpected continuous brake application, overheating the brakes and risking a fire; and an upfitter-installed battery separator can overheat, smoke and possibly catch fire. Owners have logged two complaints with NHTSA, both on the service brakes, which lines up with the relay valve recall.
