Known issues on the 2000 MPV. Five recalls have been issued for the 2000 MPV. On certain 2000 MPV vans built without anti-lock brakes, the brake pipe layout fell short of the federal stopping-distance requirement for a partial brake failure, so stopping distances could grow if part of the system failed; dealers modified the brake system. Certain 2000 MPV vans with engines from a particular supplier plant had fuel injectors mismatched to the lower intake manifold, which could let fuel leak; dealers replaced the lower intake manifold assembly, and that recall covered 5,600 vehicles.
