1994 Ford Taurus Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 1994 Ford Taurus covers GL, LX and SHO trims of the four-door sedan and four-door wagon, with four naturally aspirated V6 engines to choose between: the flex-fuel or gasoline 3.0L OHV V6, the 3.8L OHV V6, the 3.0L DOHC V6 and the 3.2L DOHC V6. With three trims and four engines the combinations are limited, and the manual keeps its procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics sorted by engine first so the OHV and DOHC families never get confused with each other.

Known issues on the 1994 Taurus. The federal record shows five recalls. The engine cooling fan on cars in a few listed states can smoke or burn, taking its shroud, wiring or motor with it; the headlights can go dark for brief intervals when a circuit breaker opens; and the front strut sway bar bracket welds can tear loose and damage a tire or wheel. Owners have lodged 1117 complaints with NHTSA, split mainly between engine and engine cooling and the power train, with the electrical system a distant third. The manual's cooling fan wiring diagrams, headlamp circuit diagnostics and strut procedures speak to those three areas.
