2014 Ford Taurus Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 2014 Ford Taurus is written for a four-door sedan offered in four trims, Limited, SE, SEL and SHO, with three gasoline engines: a turbocharged 2.0L DOHC inline-four, a naturally aspirated 3.5L DOHC V6 and a turbocharged 3.5L DOHC V6. Procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics are laid out engine by engine, so the four-cylinder car, the naturally aspirated V6 car and the turbocharged V6 car each have a clear path through the book.

Known issues on the 2014 Taurus. The federal record for this year lists five recalls. On 2.0L front wheel drive cars, the support bracket for the front drive axle halfshaft can fail, costing park function or drive; cars with the SHO performance pack can fracture a rear suspension toe link and change handling abruptly; and a part in the fuel pump module on turbocharged 3.5L cars can overheat and stall the engine. NHTSA has logged 234 complaints from owners, most on steering, then the fuel and propulsion system and the electrical system. Halfshaft bracket procedures, rear toe link torque values and fuel pump diagnostics are in the manual.
