2018 Ford Taurus Service and Repair Manual

Known issues on the 2018 Taurus. This model year carries four recalls on the federal record. A mechanical ignition key can be removed with the transmission out of park, leaving the car free to roll if the parking brake is off; the B-pillar door trim on the driver and front passenger doors can come off while driving; and the rearview camera may show a distorted, intermittent or blank image. Owners have brought 48 complaints to NHTSA, ten of them on structure, with suspension and back over prevention at seven each.
