2017 Ford Taurus Service and Repair Manual
This factory service and repair manual for the 2017 Ford Taurus covers Limited, SE, SEL and SHO, four trims of the four-door sedan, with a naturally aspirated 3.5L DOHC V6 that runs on flex-fuel or gasoline, a turbocharged 2.0L DOHC inline-four and a turbocharged 3.5L DOHC V6. The manual's procedures, specifications, torque values, wiring diagrams and diagnostics are written per engine, and the flex-fuel V6 is treated as its own case rather than as a gasoline engine with a note attached.

Known issues on the 2017 Taurus. Federal records list four recalls. The steering gear heat shield fasteners can corrode and let the shield fall away, so the steering gear can overheat and steering gets heavy at low speed; a mechanical key can be pulled from the ignition with the transmission out of park, so the car can roll away; and the B-pillar door trim can detach while driving. Owners have submitted 44 complaints to NHTSA, nine on the electrical system, seven on structure and three on steering. Steering gear procedures, ignition lock wiring diagrams and door trim steps are in the manual.
