Known issues on the 1992 Caprice. Eight recalls stand on the record. Aftermarket lamp assemblies missing amber side reflectors account for several. The serious mechanical ones are a rear lower control arm that can crack at the stabilizer bar attachment and fracture through, and steel wheels that develop fatigue cracks around the lug nut mounting surface until the wheel can separate from the axle. Another covers an electrical ground-out capable of melting the junction block and burning wiring. Complaints total 114, heaviest on the service brakes at thirty-one, then air bags at fifteen and seat belts at thirteen.
