1984 Chevrolet Caprice Service and Repair Manual

This factory service and repair manual for the 1984 Chevrolet Caprice has three bodies, one trim and three engines to account for. Known issues on the 1984 Caprice. Two recalls appear on the federal record. One involves replacement oil filters that may not seal, allowing oil loss and a fire risk; the other concerns a nylon bushing in the cruise control servo that can slip free, producing unexpected rises in engine speed or a throttle that stays open. Seven owner complaints were logged, two on the power train and one each on service brakes and engine cooling.
