1990 Ford F-250 Service and Repair Manual

This factory service and repair manual for the 1990 Ford F-250 is the reference for a truck sold with five engines: the 5.8L V8, the 7.3L V8 diesel, the 5.0L V8, the 7.5L V8 and the 4.9L inline-six, every one of them a naturally aspirated OHV design. Known issues on the 1990 F-250. Seven recalls are on federal record for the 1990 F-250, most of them about fuel. Steel fuel return tubes can chafe on a pinch weld flange until they leak; a faulty fuel pump check valve can push unused fuel into the second tank until it overflows; and crossed supply and return connectors on some trucks move fuel between tanks. Owners have filed 115 complaints with NHTSA, 37 on the fuel system, 27 on the service brakes and 14 on the electrical system.
