2024 Toyota Highlander Service and Repair Manual
Toyota split the 2024 Highlander between two very different powerplants, the hybrid 2.5L (A25A-FXS) and the turbocharged 2.4L (T24A-FTS), and this factory service and repair manual is matched to the exact year, engine and trim in front of you, so the values and tightening sequences you work to are the ones Toyota published for that build and not an approximation borrowed from an adjacent model year.

Known issues on the 2024 Highlander. Five recalls are on federal record for this model year. Two of them cover tires. Southeast Toyota Distributors, LLC recalled certain 2021-2024 Highlander vehicles over 20-inch accessory tires with an insufficient load rating for the vehicle's Gross Axle Weight Rating, and tires with an insufficient load rating can be overloaded and fail, increasing the risk of a crash. Gulf States Toyota, Inc. recalled certain 2022-2024 model year Highlander L and Highlander LE vehicles equipped with the Blackout Package that includes 20-inch black alloy wheels and tires, where tires with an insufficient load rating may be overloaded and fail, increasing the risk of a crash. A third covers rear seat belt anchorage on certain 2024-2025 Highlander and Highlander Hybrid vehicles, at the third row center seat belt roof anchor; a seat belt that does not properly restrain an occupant increases the risk of injury during a crash. A fourth covers the back over prevention display function on vehicles equipped with a Panoramic View Monitor system, because a rearview camera that fails to display an image can reduce the driver's view behind the vehicle. The fifth covers the instrument cluster and panel, as an instrument panel display that does not show critical information can increase the risk of a crash. NHTSA also lists 51 owner complaints for the year and 63 technical service bulletins.
From a blank Panoramic View Monitor screen to a third row belt anchor check or scheduled service on the hybrid powertrain, it keeps you on Toyota's own procedure and the right figure for your 2024 Highlander.
