Two concern the accelerator pedal: in one, a pedal stuck wide open may result in very high vehicle speeds and make it difficult to stop; in the other, the pedal may become hard to depress or slow to return to idle. A third covers power window devices and controls, where the sliding electrical contacts may not be protected by lubricant. A fourth is a frontal air bag recall against the sensor/control module, in which the front passenger seat occupant sensing system can be out of calibration. Another covers the front seat heater, whose copper strand heating element may short circuit if damaged, increasing the risk of a fire. The remaining three are label recalls: a label that does not meet the standard requirements, and an inaccurate label that could lead owners to overload their vehicles and tires, which may increase the risk of a crash. Owners have logged 271 complaints for the year, and there are 138 technical service bulletins for it.
