The second comes from Southeast Toyota Distributors, LLC (SET), which is recalling certain 2021-2024 Highlander vehicles over 20-inch accessory tires with an insufficient load rating for the vehicle's Gross Axle Weight Rating. Tires with an insufficient load rating can be overloaded and fail, increasing the risk of a crash. Owners have logged 555 complaints against the 2021 Highlander, and 179 technical service bulletins have been issued for it.
