Known issues on the 2023 Blazer. Both recalls on the federal record end the same way. In one, a left-side half-shaft assembly is missing its retaining ring, letting the inner joint pull apart. In the other, a transmission built with the wrong sun gear can allow the driver-side half-shaft to disengage. Either fault can leave the vehicle without drive, or let it roll away after the driver selects park.
