Known issues on the 2000 Blazer. Four recalls are on the federal record. Two of them share a cause: the multifunction switch can develop an open circuit that kills the stop lamps and rear hazard lamps, so following drivers get no signal that the truck is braking or stopped. A third has antilock brake pipe nuts tightened without their flared ends properly seated, which can break the seal and let fluid leak until stopping distance grows.
