Known issues on the 1993 Blazer. Seven recalls stand federally. The most consequential is a transmission fault: wear on the low and reverse clutch can stop the park pawl from engaging, so a truck left in park with the engine running can roll away on its own. Two more concern antilock braking, one a drive-mode switch that lengthens stops, the other extended stopping distances on mixed surfaces. Owners filed 569 complaints and 400 of them name the service brakes, with 43 on engine and cooling and 20 on the fuel system.
