Known issues on the 2021 Jetta. Four recalls have been filed against the 2021 Jetta. Certain 2021 Jetta vehicles could have bolts missing from the front seat tracks, letting the seat slide freely and raising injury risk in a crash; dealers inspected the tracks and, where needed, fitted bolts. Certain cars also had an air bag control module welded in the wrong spot, and certain vehicles could lose the rearview camera image because of a memory module flaw in the infotainment unit, fixed by a software update. Service brakes lead the 70 complaints at 25, followed by the electrical system at 13; 3 reported a crash, 1 an injury and 2 a death.
