One covered certain 2003 Jetta vehicles whose driver frontal air bag inflator could build too much pressure on deployment and burst, throwing metal fragments at occupants; dealers replaced the inflator. The other concerned certain vehicles with a brake light switch that may have been fitted incorrectly, so the brake lights could stay dark or stay lit.
