Known issues on the 2014 Jetta. The 2014 Jetta drew 6 recalls. Certain 2014 Jetta vehicles built during a specific production window had a fuel rail sealing cap that could fail and leak fuel into the engine compartment, a fire risk; the fuel rails were replaced. Certain hybrid versions with the seven-speed DSG could develop hairline cracks in the mechatronic unit, losing oil pressure and drive power. Certain cars combining an automatic gearbox, a manual handbrake and keyless entry could release the key outside Park.
