2021 Ram 4500 Service and Repair Manual

This factory service and repair manual for the 2021 Ram 4500 concerns a Base-trim cab and chassis truck in two bodies, the 4-door crew cab and the conventional cab. Known issues on the 2021 4500. Five recalls are listed for the 2021 4500. Certain 2021 Ram 4500 trucks with the 6.7L turbo diesel could develop a short in the intake heater grid relay, which could start an engine compartment fire whether the ignition was on or off; owners were told to park outside, away from structures, until the relay was replaced. On certain trucks the steering column control module could keep the driver air bag from deploying as intended, and dealers replaced the module. Certain others were affected by an incorrect lug nut torque figure that could lead to over-tightened nuts, a broken wheel stud and a wheel coming off.
