Known issues on the 2015 4500. Eight recalls stand against the 2015 4500. Certain 2015 Ram 4500 trucks built during a short production window could have a poorly penetrated weld where the front upper control arm loop meets its spacer, weakening front suspension stability; dealers inspected the arms and replaced any affected ones. Certain trucks carried an overstated lug nut torque figure that could crack studs and free a wheel. On certain others, a wiring short could stop cruise control from switching off. Owners lodged 7 complaints, including 2 on service brakes and 2 on wheels; 1 complaint reported a crash and 2 reported a fire.
